Writer’s Block
Do you want to know the problem with writers? It’s that they’re also close readers. That’s why relationships are so hard for them. They read into every single word that’s said. They dissect every text message. They’re constantly looking for the hidden meaning. Could you imagine being with someone like that? Where a simple, “Hey, I can’t make it for movie night” can be misconstrued as “Hey, I don’t love you anymore.”
But don’t feel sorry for them; it makes for damn good writing.
